Please, please tell me that was comedy, and an impersonator of Gov. Palin. It was too frighteningly real for me to think that clown on the tube was a candidate for veep.
The best part of Fey's riff is that she often just repeats, verbatim, what Palin said -- or tried to say.
'Ol Sarah is already a caricature of herself and destined to go down in history in a bad way, but to be perfectly honest, I'm loving every minute of her. It's not even a guilty pleasure as it looks more and more unlikely that she'll pose any real threat. Enjoy!
Not quite as bad as the "uh uh uh" while Obama tried to read the prop - sorry, bracelet - with the fallen soldier's name. :-)

I thought Obama did a rather good job of exposing both bracelets as props, neutralizing McCain's shameless appeal to emotion.
And sorry, Palin is worse, a thousand-fold, than either of them.
