Hmmm, I'm of the mind that when someone says something like this about me,
“[homosexuals are] brute beasts…part of a vile and satanic system [that] will be utterly annihilated, and there will be a celebration in heaven.”
Then staying silent about who and what they are just because they are dead is dishonest.

I'm not sure I'd call silence either circumspect or wry. I'd call it silence and leave it at that. And if you characterize my abborence for vile hate speach and the preaching of intolerance toward a group of people of whom you are one as "smug self-righteous indignation" then I'm guilty as charged. Do me a favor Aatom, the next time you put up a post that contains something "circumspect and wry" let me know OK. I'll want to read it so that I can see exactly how thats done.
